Michael Risberg is a musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer and improviser that is primarily known as a guitarist. Having worked in a plethora of mediums - from most shades of rock music, folk, jazz, country, ambient to experimental music - he is equally at home when playing with a wide variety of artists being able to draw from a diverse sonic palette informed from a arsenal of effects, synths and from guitar techniques from years of playing the guitar.

Originally hailing from the Northeastern United States, he now resides in the heart of Berlin where he is often working on music with his primary band Elder whom he has played hundreds of concerts with throughout North America, Europe and the UK. His dual residency also means he is able to tour freely in Europe and the USA.
